Giving in to temptation

Things between Joey and Lauren step up a gear as they realise that, as much as they try to fight it, they can't resist each other.

Secrecy costs

Max has got himself in to some hot water... he has to raise a lot of cash to pay his mystery contact as the deadline approaches... but what is Max so desperate to keep quiet?

Tanya's on a mission

After playing detective and finding out more aboutÌýher long-lostÌýsister Ava, Tanya decides to go and meet her... but Patrick isn't happy about Tanya going behind Cora's back.

Fatboy the City boy

PoppyÌýis desperate to keep up apearances afterÌýlying to her little sister Tansy about having aÌýhigh-flying lifestyle.ÌýFatboy helps out byÌýputting on a show and pretending to be Poppy's wealthy boyfriend, 'Fatboy' Arthur Chubb.

Claws out!

One thing's for sure,ÌýJoey has managed to causeÌýquite a stirÌýamongst the Walford ladies in his short time on The Square - and it all comes to a head when Lucy and Lauren fight over him in The Vic. Lucy demands that Lauren makes a choice; her friends or Joey... we doubt Lauren will find that a hard choice to make!

Running away

Joey and Lauren steal Derek's car and speed off, planning their new lives together... surely nothing can stop them being togther now?

Losing control

... or maybe we spoke too soon! Old habits die hard for Lauren as she gets behind the wheel despite having had a few too many drinks. She loses control of the car and her and Joey crash into a shop front!

    yayyyyyyyyy can`t wait .

I see that Lauren has taken lessons from the George Michael school of driving. Heather Trott would be so proud.
As for Max, I think he is paying Rainie to keep away from the wedding.

Lauren and Joey are cousins !!! surely they would be in trouble !!! how come their family's don't know especially if Lucy and Lauren are fighting in the pub over him !!!

  • Comment number 4.

According to Twitter, they are a bit more than cousins and Max isn't Laurens Dad and their real Dad is killed at Christmas. We shall see if it is just a rumour or not!

  • Comment number 5.

Omg!! Is that why Tanya hates Derek so much? Is he the father of Tanya's Lauren? Wow!! That makes Lauren n joey not cousins but step brother and sister.

  • Comment number 6.

    Exciting week..!!!

    can't wait !! :)

awele_22, I think you mean HALF brother and sister: if they were STEP sibs they wouldn't be blood related at all, and could do anythhing they wanted; if they were HALF sibs, IE share one parent, then I believe the same rules, legal and moral, would apply as to full siblings.
Anyway, Lauren's a dog compared to luscious Lucy !!!

  • Comment number 9.

Awww! The perfect couple! @ awele_22 don't think so, actually, even if he was they would be HALF brother and sister! There is a difference: Half-siblings biologically share a parent, step-siblings are when they only belong to ONE parent and it wouldn't be illegal!

  • Comment number 10.

... that is each one is a product from each parents' previous relationship.

I think Lauren is all right, especially since she got rid of that horrible fringe. Anyway, in real life she has a hot boyfriend (the actor who plays Tyler), and "Lucy" is single. Personally, I think "Lucy" is boring.

Looks good!!! can't wait for more joey and lauren moments!
Eastenders is great but it has gone a bit down hill.....its still good but these past 2yrs have not been eastenders at there best! I loved eastenders when there were alot of gangsters like Johnny Allen, Jack Dalton, Dennis Rickman, Den Watts etc etc! There were much better and more instresting storylines! I would love to see eastender become as good as they before and maybe joey and lauren might be as popular as kat and alfie when the frist got togeather!!

  • Comment number 13.

Hope the brother, sister rumors are not true because Lauren and Joey have such a great on screen chemistry!! There is actually a growing number of fans for this storyline and it can become something huge!!!

  • Comment number 14.

wow... that joeeyy.. god he needs to get ugly!! lauren is soo much prettier than lucyy to be hones... this is just my opinion!

  • Comment number 15.

than god there was a happy end in eastenders for christan and sayad thankyou i loved it lili

  • Comment number 16.

Lili, totally agree! I am really glad Christian and Syed left together, that's how it was supposed to be! I think Roxy's tears were not acting. And everyone else were sad to see them go as well.

  • Comment number 17.

Yay.. Good riddance to Lauren, had enough of her, though the lady herself is a great actress.

  • Comment number 18.

    HEEELLLLLOOOOO
    PEOPLE
TANYA AND DEREK HAD AN AFFAIR BEFORE SHE GOT MARRIED TO MAX
TANYA BECAME PREGNANT AND DEREK IS THE FATHER OD LAUREN
MAX DOES NOT KNOW THIS .... TANYA OF COURSE DOES AND JOEY AND LAUREN HAVE no idea!!! but i think derek knows ... they are half brother and sister .....eeewwww

  • Comment number 19.

Arman; Have I missed anything? Is "Lauren" leaving? I thought it was "Tanya" who is taking half of the next year off.

  • Comment number 20.

I don't want them to die I want them to survive and live happily ever after cause I think they both make a really good couple if they do die which I dont want to Happen then I might stop watching eastenders then eastenders will lose one of there fans.so they better not make them die if so they will regret it.I want then to survive!!!

  • Comment number 21.
