last night was ace - Stuart James, Cate le Bon and Gideon Conn all live from Maida Vale. Hopefuly they'll all have music out there for you to get hold of soon - the sessions last night though were brilliant - thanks to them all for playing.
I'm off to New Zealand tomorrow, which im mega excited about - cant wait. ill tryan blog here too while im off - depends if im stranded on a glacier or not though of course:)
hey huw. i'm a scottish guy living permanently in new zealand. i listen to your show online. it's one of my favourite connections to the uk and the best for new music (obviously!). just tuned into the latest repeat and victor galloway just announced you were here in nz.
a few tips. die! die! die! are touring nz at the mo including auckland on 24th. you've played them before. they're great live. other good local bands include the mint chicks, charlie ash and jakob (who are scarily similar to mogwai).
not many record shops exist in nz. real groovy is the best and is in auckland, wellington (beautiful city) and christchurch.
if you're in auckland give me a shout and i'll buy you a drink. have fun!
