A whole bunch of ace new tunes in the programme last night - part 2 of Lucy Over Lancashire, the Sonny Jim track, Cruiser Chimps, lush Welsh tune from Yucatan, and the Stuart James session tracks were as fast and furious as couldve been expected. Big things!
Last night we had a dj dinner in a secret location in London, a whole bunch of djs tucking into some tasty grub, with talk of music films and the best thing in the world, radio. Itd be rude of me to part with gossip from the night (I had to leave early cos of the show of course), but I spoke to Ras Kwame about watching the Pipettes in NYC, Mary Anne Hobbs about her night in Cardiff soon, Bobby Friction about the Prince film Purple Rain, Daniel P Carter about the Full Ponty and Download festivals, Rob da Bank about the Beastie Boys at Bestival and the Trophy Twins about whatever came out of their filthy northern mouths:)
