Storming new single from This City is opening up the show this week. The Brighton band's single is coming out on Label Fandango, an off-shoot of the ever green Fierce Panda. Another Brighton band were in session, 4 or 5 Magicians, including their cover of Sebadoh's Gimme Indie Rock. Session sounded great - check their myspace for live dates.

Other highlights on the show include Penny Broadhurst (playing Strummerfest in Leeds this Sunday), Bill Davro from Warrington, and S.H.A.P.E.S from London. This week's Introducing Podcast is a good 'un too with Noah and the Whale kicking it off - it'll be online tomorrow.
