Bye to Producer Louise

Yes, it's true. Producer Louise is off on maternity leave after this weeks show. She has an exciting time ahead of her! We'll miss her and we wish her all the best - she loves Introducing and Introducing loves her!

Broken Records and Wave Pictures

This week on the show it's Broken Records from Edinburgh in session - their debut single, If the news makes You Sad don't Watch it is out this week on Young Turks and is brilliant - their debut Maida Vale session was superb too. Hear it again here.

Next week on the show it's the Wave Pictures. Several cdr's old but with a debut album proper in the form of Instant Coffe Baby coming out this summer, it's an exciting time for the band. Check the swish video here!




Twisted Wheel gig, Luke Leighfield, The Hair

Hello

Tongith in session on introducing in England it's Leeds band The Hair with their debut Maida Vale session. Their sound is a kind of punky, funky riotous sound - really lively on stage and on tape session should be a stormer. Also from midnight, Lucy and the Caterpillar will be in live and acoustic.

Tonight at the ICA in london it's an Introducing night with Twisted Wheel headlining, Operahouse and Lowline all playing - promisies to be a good un if youre in the area!

Glasto winners...

Well done to the Travelling Band and Golden Silvers who won the Glastonbury Emerging Artists competition. All the bands who played in Pilton over the weekend go on to play at Glasto!
We have the Introducing Stage at the Park in Glastonbury again this year of course with a whole load of ace new music....
