Ìý3. Shystie Feat. No Lay & Ghetts - Takeover

Shystie

My third track of the month comes from three legendary grime MCs, , and , with their track, Takeover. This single is the theme track to a recently released movie called, SKET. On the track, which is getting an official release in December, all three spitter's go hard! The production also has quite an old skool grime vibe about it, and that's what really caught my ear when I heard it a month ago.

2. SP - Glory

My second track of the month comes from , and he's an MC hailing from Birmingham. He sent me the link to this track a couple of weeks ago and I've literally been listening to it on repeat ever since. SP freestyles over Ryan Leslie's Glory and totally owns it. For an MC to spit over an R&B beat and do what has been done here, they deserve a pat on the back! Listen to the bars closely, it's quite deep.

1. TRACK OF THE MONTH: Marger Feat. Josh Osho - This Year

My track of the month comes from an MC who I've featured in my top three many times before, and he goes by the name of . Produced by , Marger teams up with Universal-signed for this catchy, mainstream-friendly track. Although it has got a strong mainstream vibe about it, Marger he keeps it 100% grime with the flow! Watch out for all three of these guys in 2012, because they're destined for big things.
