When Flying Lotus isn't busy performing and releasing mind-boggling records, he's doing it for others. Paving the way for forward-thinking influential maverick music-makers, Brainfeeder is his label, and it's home to Thundercat and Lapalux amongst others.

I spoke to Flying Lotus aka Steven Ellison about the founding of the label, the future of the label, and recent releases.
