Style: The band initially began life as a post-hardocre group before giving their sound a more melodic edge. You can hear that transition in We Never Close Our Eyes, an epic chunk of heavy, anthemic alternative rock which easily keeps pace with the likes of , and . The track comes from their debut EP Where I'm From due to be released at the end of November.
You need to know: The big break for Ameira came in 2012 when they won a local Battle Of the Bands competition.
