From the likes of east coast America producing the eletro-pop of MSMR through to Australia’s The Preatures bringing alt-pop back into the mainstream, this London trio combine the best of both. You need to know: SYKES shared their music with 主播大秀 Introducing in London in 2012. Since then they’ve been supported by their local show, and the likes of Tom Robinson (6 Music) and Huw Stephens (Radio 1) have become fans. They released their EP Gold Dust, last October and have been out on tour with the likes of Kodaline recently. They’ll be performing onthis weekend.
