's track Faded Memory will be played on Radio 1 daytime shows including Sara Cox, Greg James, Dev and Huw Stephens at the weekend. 主播大秀town: Skarlett Riot formed in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire during the summer of 2010.
Style: The fourpiece band lead from the front with their female vocalist and guitarist Skarlett. On Faded Memory, she demonstrates a shut-up-and-pay-attention vocal amid a wave of heavy riffs, blistering drums and a killer melody. Comparisons to Halestorm, and have been made although they definitely seem to rock harder than the latter on this evidence. Faded Memory is from their debut album, Tear Me Down released on March 25th 2013.
You need to know: The band have already shared stages with the likes of Reckless Love, Deaf Havana, Black Spiders and are soon touring with Sister Sin and Voodoo Six.
Supported by: Alongside praise from Kerrang, Scuzz TV, Powerplay and Rocksound, Skarlett Riot have been supported by for a couple of years, having had six tracks broadcast.
