Essential: Litany otherwise known as Beth Cornell is a 25 year old vocalist and songwriter from Harrogate. Her musical influences include Metronomy, Jessie Ware and George Michael. Litany performed on the Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds last year and you can catch her headline show at Londodn's The Garage on October 3rd.
According to Litany, 'My Dude' is “inspired by a diary entry from 15-year-old me when I was really into an older guy but he was dating a girl even older than he was. I remember for a time wanting to be her so badly so I could have him (and her car), going through the motions from crazed jealousy to self-affirmation and wishing he'd have a lightbulb moment. In short, it's about the girl who got the guy and that girl not being you.”

'Downers is a hazy R&B cut that compliments Greentea's silky voice against the sleepy beats of a North African guitar line.
The budding artist describes this track as: “a disillusioned confession to self, my London city blues. A tune for us hedonistic youths searching to feel nothing but who actually feel everything. Instead of getting you to sleep I’m tryna wake you up.”
