We’re kicking off a busy summer with the return of the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and we must say a huge thank you to the for nominating so many fantastic acts. The full list is below but I’m especially excited about seeing the hotly-tipped Royal Blood. After a storming performance for Later… With Jools Holland and a placing on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Sound Of 2014 list, it’ll be interesting to see how much noise these two really can make.

There’s also the brilliant Indiana headlining on Sunday night. She’s just delivered a killer. The thriving Glasgow music scene is well represented by the grunge-inspired Algernon Doll and punky Baby Strange and it’ll be great to hear Saint Raymond’s set following rave reviews from the likes of Zane Lowe and Greg James.

If you didn’t manage to get tickets to Big Weekend then fear not because we’ll have a live stream of the stage and videos and photos to ensure you don't miss a thing. If you’re planning on hitting any festivals this summer then chances are we’ll be tagging along too. We’ll be at Glastonbury, T In The Park, LReading + Leeds and Bestival over the summer so make sure you come and say hi!
