Even though theyāve had a change of name ā from Twin Sister to Mr Twin Sister ā theyāve also had a change in musical stance. Far gone are the days as āLong Islandās dreamiest dream pop bandā as we welcome the dark, brooding electro-pop-meets-late-night-Chicago. āOut of the Darkā is the first new material since 2011ās Twin Sister. And keen observers have noted: āThe key lyric goes like so: āI am a woman, but inside Iām a man, and I want to be as gay as I can.ā No idea whether thereās any personal resonance to that sentiment or if itās linked to the name change.ā Hmmm thought provoking!Ā
