Margjeka was born in Albania. At 18, he emigrated to the U.S and settled in Alabama. After recording two EPs with an alt-country band called Buffalo Black, Margjeka released the solo album Margo Margo in 2011. 'Hummingbird' is the title track to his second release, coming out next month via Communicating Vessels.
