This week's guest is Ron Petto, who writes...
"Last week, while going thru some boxes in my basement looking for a particular old cable for my turntable, I came across a long lost cassette tape I had made for my then 4 year-old son.
"When Evan was born, I swore he would not be listening to Barney or anything like that, especially in the car.
"In Boston, we had a great, now departed, alternative station named WFNX. Whenever they played " Mother Mother" by Tracy Bonham, I could hear Evan screaming along when Tracy sang "I'm losing my mind! Everything's fine!!!"
"So I bought the cd, and made a tape of other songs I felt he (& I ) would like to listen to in the car. My son is now turning 21 next month, and he is an obsessed music fan, like his father. He even has a blog where he writes about music & other pop culture."
