We really recognise this song from somewhere, but can’t think where we’ve heard it before! Sylvan Esso is Amelia Meath & Nick Sanborn, but you may also know them as trio Mountain Man. Mountain Man was Amelia’s band and she gave one or two of the tracks to Nick to remix. He was known at the time as Made of Oak and everybody realised that this was a venture worth pursuing. So from the clubs of Durham to the digital bit-waves of 6 Music, here are the excellent fruits of their collaboration. Their self-titled debut album was released last month so we can expect to be hearing much more of them, because we all love a nice slice of electro-chill-wave.Ìý
