Today鈥檚 free download heralds the return of one of the 2012鈥檚 favourite artists, Canadian producer Grimes.
Believe it or not, this was originally written for Rihanna, but it was turned down and we鈥檙e pretty sure she鈥檚 regretting that right now. Grimes says of the song (complete with translation): 鈥淚t鈥檚 our summer jam so we figured we should put it out cuz (because) I am very bored of waiting to finish my album b4 (before) 聽releasing new music haha.鈥� It鈥檚 very much of the school of Diplo鈥檚 bass-riding techno-dancehall, given moments to breathe by Grimes鈥� impeccable vocals. Love it or hate it, the bass is here to stay!
