Jay-Z's Show Me What You Got

I'm not giving you the link where you can download it - that would be illegal (!) however if you listen to the home of new black music over the weekend (or even tonight) I'm sure you can hear it. My view? SICK track - perfect comeback tune! Just Blaze's beat, Wreckz-N-Effect's sax from Rump Shaker, Flava Flav vocal samples and 3 very sharp Jigga verses. Almost makes up for the lacklustre Birmingham live performance!!

In other news, The Doctor's Advocate himself, The Game is coming to the UK on Monday and yours truly *may* be interviewing him on monday afternoon. If I do manage to speak to him, what do you want me to ask him?

    A to the L - read this from Allhiphop.com:

"While millions of fans are not complaining about today's (Oct. 6) leak of Jay-Z's single "Show Me," his label, Def Jam is taking the breach seriously and may pursue legal action against the individual responsible for the leak. While no one knows who the culprit behind the leak is, sources told AllHipHop.com that Def Jam has launched an internal investigation, fearing that the rapper's forthcoming comeback album Kingdom Come may be leaked in its entirety. "The FBI may do an investigation into this," an anonymous source told AllHipHop.com. "Everything has been under lock and key, so we have no idea how the single was leaked."

    Ask him:

If thing are properly sorted out with his brother Bigfase?

Was attempting to squash the beef with 50 real?

Is he ever gonna stop dissing 50? (like he said he would).

How come BWS havent got any distribution yet?

Why did he get that butterfly tat covered if he wasn't ashamd of it?

Does he need Dre if he has Scott Storch?

Are him and Jay-Z, Buddens, Yukmouth, Bleek cool now?

Why does he beef so much? and has he learnt anything from wasting time being negative?

Real reasons why Dre isnt on the album, were any tracks recorded? if so will they be on mixtapes?

Who he is feeling on the west coast?

What does he think of 40 Glocc, Spider Loc etc on G-Unit West?

To leak that Just Blaze track with Nas (please)?

    errr.............that'll do.

You gotta dig further homie! The sax is originally from Lafayette Afro Rock Band's "Darkest Light". If you're interested, the other horn loop is from Johnny Pate's "Shaft In Africa" theme.

Beatminer, I know it is. But I'll wager a tidy sum that Just sampled the PE record - it takes the Flav adlibs and all.

Its pretty average anyway, despite the hype. 'Kingdom Come' though, is much more like it - Rick James got severely chopped up!
