let's face it . this speech has shocked the Mc Cain camp because their candidate is not able to keep up with Obama, of that i'm certain, i honestly believe that by the time of the Polls Mc Cain will be so out of Puff it will tell. This is a sustained period of political pressure on Mc Cain. Basically saying to the republican party, ' Barack is good to go-are you, or would you just like a warm glass of milk and your slippers ?'. Mc Cain and his party can whinge all they like but they appear to be stuck in a Rutt. They can't disagree with what Bush has done and because they can't, and won't! they continue along thier tried and failed path to ruin. Obama's campaigning from now to see how much of Mc Cains hair is left come poll day. The more weak in body McCain is seen to be, he has to be less electable as a candidate, with Obama trotting accross the atlantic and making foreign engagements, he also appears as more approachable by all foreign leaders not just those who are in nato or the EU. WIN WIN. McCain will be seen as isolationist, because of it.

Max Mosley called the newspaper's bluff and sued them. However repellant his private activities may appear, they are his own private business. Nobody underage was involved, the hookers were willing participants and nobody scared the horses! The "News of The World" is hypocritical, from its earlier days of "shocking" news about vicars and scout masters, it has pretended to be the conscience of the people, growing rich on gossip and scandal. Society today is pretty immoral if one considers the drunkeness on the streets, the vulgar behaviour of young women, and the immodest dress of both sexes. The antics of pop stars, footballers, models and outright harpies are displayed as goals for our youth. The actions of the "News of The World" remind me of the actions of local councils, peering into rubbish bins, piecing together shreds of paper, CCTV monitoring our movements. This newspaper is indeed the official gazette of today's establishment.

Labour were comfortably in front ( 52% ) in the Glasgow East opinion polls before Labour revealed their Tory inspired " Corporate Nazi " Welfare Reforms. Failure to mention this important policy factor to the working classes makes Ö÷²¥´óÐã political reporting and analysis look amateur.

It would appear that the Corporate thought police will not allow anyone to link Labour's loss of Glasgow East to their recently announced Welfare reforms. This is blatant censorship of a legitimate political position not unlike what one might expect in Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia.

after Glasgow east Brown must change direction...but he won't. He will play the suicide card because that is what drives him, total obstinacy, arrogance and will take the whole nuLabour ship down with him rather tha admit that he and his failed miserable policies are just a smokescreen and a sham. He would lose his own seat on this result so would more tha half his cabinet so will it be the ides of March or the men in white suits? At least that's the end of ID cards.

Still nothing in iPlayer. Maybe one day the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's Internet act will be as good as some of its programmes still are. Until then, thank God for NPR, PBS and others ;-)
