As for the proposed cuts in incapacity benefit, many current claimants face being thrust even deeper into poverty than they are already. It would appear that the Tories aim to treat our genuine wealth producing hard working manual operatives like virtual slaves, hand them the virtual withering death sentence of JSA if they fail to reach an increasing retirement age in good health.

Its now bad enough at present under Labour, a relative of mine in his fifties has a gammy leg due to the hard manual labour he has done throughout his life. However, because it mends up after a few days rest he can't claim IB as he could have done a few years ago. It is impossible for him to hold down a full time job, and he does not have the chance for time off in the hope that his leg will get better more permanently. The Tories proposed cuts to IB represent a stealth increase in National Insurance contributions for all heavy manual workers. Perhaps OK for those in soft often parasitic ten bob fat cat office jobs etc, but perhaps the net result could be that the brighter teenagers shy away from potential life long careers in hard manual work. Never mind, parasitic employment agencies can get cheap east European migrants to do it while our fit young people languish on the dole. Perhaps hardly surprising to find that the idea of stealing hard won rights from the most vulnerable in our society came from a potentially " socially useless " celebrity stock market parasite. Namely party hopping in a " hissy fit " like a naughty spoilt child who didn't get all his own way David Freud.

Its all part of a celebrity stock market parasite inspired " Corporate Nazi " ideology where large corporations and fascist leaning NGO's lobby government to make everything as inefficient ( difficult ) and expensive as possible, especially for people living in rural areas. ( no cushy desk jobs available in rural areas ) A key part of the " Corporate Nazi " plan is the systematic dismantling of our welfare state whilst at the same time providing and expanding a virtual welfare state for the Banks and their stock market parasites.

Yes, there are different views in the Tory Party on the EU. But is that really news? Furthermore, it's not as if the population as a whole speaks with one voice on the issue!

Whilst the "Irish referendum reopens Tory splits" non-story is worth a degree of coverage, do the circumstances in which the country finds itself not warrant discussion of a number of the other issues facing us? They, and the Conservative Party's possible solutions to them, may be considered by many to be slightly more important just now.

First, please tell us license fee payers how much you are paying the american 'pollster' to tell us what small groups of the public think.
Second, please tell us what other organisations respond to what people already think, rather than telling them what they believe in and asking them to sign up to that vision.
The Conservatives [and new labour for that matter] are obsessed with conforming with what the - largely uninformed - public think, rather than setting out what they should be interested in and persuading them it is a good idea.

First - please tell us how much the Ö÷²¥´óÐã is paying the american pollster to reveal to us what small groups of UK voters think.

Absolutely hysterical Jeremy v Boris interview tonight :o) I can see it being a classic interview. From flowerpots being wiped away by the sponge of amnesia (student days) to Boris telling Jeremy to get a proper job (!) to Boris not having a clue on how to get the British electorate to have their say on the Lisbon Treaty.....because he wasn't an EU lawyer. However, the funniest was Boris being ordered to just look in the camera by Jeremy and tell the viewers at home why they should vote Conservative. PRICELESS.

Also enjoyed David & Jeremy's discussion of key manifesto issues, and George Osbourne running away from Michael because he too was clueless on what to say....oh but he would be rehearsed properly by Wednesday. Toffs?
When I was a member of the Tory Party I met people from all walks of life and many of them have become friends even if my contact with them is rare. At the time I felt almost completely abandoned by the previous friends 'standing up' for leftist 'purity'.
Although I'm sure there are so called 'toffs' among the Conservatives who don't care all that much for the underprivileged, the overall picture is different in my opinion and as far as David Cameron is concerned I think he really does care. Coming from a privileged background /it turns out in fact that he is a direct descendant of William IV) he may find find it difficult to project his caring image but it's more of a 'cosmetic' problem rather than anything else. I may be wrong of course but then I'm prepared to take the risk of backing him but please remember I'm not a subscribed Conservative Party member any more.
I don't look at people from the point of view of their background anyway but prefer to see them from the basic humanity perspective, however difficult it may seem to define it.

Getting to the point thou' ,unless I am very much mistaken the Lisbon Treaty has still not been ratified in all 27 nation states (that's right I said "Nation States") of the EU yet, so why should the Tory policy to hold a referendum change until that reality changes ?

As for NuLabour announcing a public sector pay freeze , well was it news management or were the markets getting a bit wobbly with NuLabour debt mountain and some show of dealing with it was needed ?

Especially if, in the case of the latter, these huge salaries, perks and pensions are funded, uniquely, by the public purse. And, more so, if they have seemed or seem curiously uncurious of others who have graced their chairs. For some reason.

That'd be a fine thing! Enough to make me vote Conservative (not quite thou'). I've been running my own business for about the last 25 years and the temptation to vote for a little less interference from the confused bureaucracy that calls itself 'government' would be quite hard to resist. During that time I have never claimed any sort of benefit, have paid for my own and my family's healthcare and contributed my small bit to the wealth of the nation. A little less interference would have given me a few more hours to spend with my family rather than at my desk.

Now it seems that I am to be invited to put £8K on the roulette table on the off chance that I might need nursing care in my dotage (perish the thought). During all the time I have been paying my own way I have been encouraged by HMG to continue paying my whack in terms of National Insurance. As I have never claimed anything back from that it should be quite a good total by now so haven't I already paid for any care I might need in future? Thought not.

Ay-oop, nearly 13:00hrs. Tin hats on everybody, time for Go1's bomb run.

Given the BNP are Nationalists and are "not a nazi party" they too must be anarchists.

There are those - such as your pal Jaded_Jean who revere Hitler and would pass over democracy for National Socialism.

Anybody who has ever read about the exploits of Hitler, Heidrich, Himmler and so on who would systematically kill men women and children .

Evidence is abundant from the Nuremburg trials onwards through the many war crimes trials and historical accounts.

As for the children I have commented before that there does seem to be a connection between Nazis and child abusers in recent years. I haven't read the whole thread in detail but in my world with the far right once they have invested their minds in the ideology the cult-like nature of these groupings means it must be very hard for them to change.

But on the other hand the far right have always been characterised by feuds and double dealing - such as the leaked BNP membership list though that may have been a publicity stunt.

But then again your posts are appreciated as it helps to point out the stunningly obvious as if you let people declare that night is day there are those psychologically inclined to follow a group like sheep.

So when they try to skirt around Hitler being one of the most evil men in history and the Holocaust and the sheer ignorance of their racial views I like to take the time to point out the clear contradictions in their own claims.

The Holocaust , some claim, was made up to "put people off statists" and they go to say that any violence was in fact done not by the Nazis (statists) but by Stalinist Russians (statists). Nuremburg and the vast catalogue of contemporary films and documents are just breezed over.

No, the people who make this csse assert that both of the above are the means whereby the liberal-democratization programme has been established and reinforced over the years. Beginning with the Tehran Conference in late 1943, it's material which used as psychological/political/economic warfare. It certainly ), so, perhaps, just perhaps, the idea was, given that it worked on them (the original idea was to reduce Germany to a market garden economy via the Morgenthau Plan), why not extend the programme to all gentile Europeans in the interest of economic hegemony?

Jeremy has made it clear that he asks only supportive questions of global warming alarmists & never speaks to sceptics because the Ö÷²¥´óÐã heirarchy tell him to rather than because he believes it. So the open convention may be that he asks the questions but the real convention is that all these questions are politically controlled. Thus Boris is quite right to question the questioner.
