On the topic of too many folks in communications, and nothing worth communicating (or, at least, odd selectivity as to what is), having had the email from Emily, I still await the story blog complement referred to.

So this'll have to do, if hardly too joined up...

Have to say I am still trying to get to grips with this whole Wikileaks thing.

These files were released illegally, if I am not mistaken, and then provided with or without editorial (changes, omissions, etc) to an entity favoured by the thief. This entity then offers the material (again, one presumes, free of or possibly having been subject to edits or omissions) to a selection of media they in turn like... and trust... 'to do the right thing'. These, in turn, get all coy and selective about what they will and won't share, and when, which sounds like editorial agenda over all else. And the weird part is, in the past when material obtained in dubious circumstances and/or of questionable provenance has been made known, these self-same media have sat on it all for ages claiming all sorts of high-falutin' professional integrity reasons for why.

This does, at best, seem to suggest a multiplicity of standards. Especially when it comes to any confidence that what is being shared is an accurate representation of all that exists, or the full story.

Which is, as always, fascinating. If morbidly so. And not a little too unique.

WHEN STAFF DEPART CAN STATUS BE FAR BEHIND?

There is something indefinable missing in Limited Ed. Hence the name.
He is sort of 'politics by numbers'. 'All of the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order'? He might be a very capable human being, but THEY don't last long in the inhuman realm of Westminster. And he just can't DO the stuff that Blair, Cameron and their ilk, do INSTINCTIVELY.

Just another day in Westminster ineptitude. What next?

What one does seem to be getting, in lieu of any actual news from near (more 'lessons have been learned' that saying lessons have been learned gets you out of a snowdrift, especially an unprecedented one... that only happened a few decades ago) or far (N. Korea getting away with murder... spectacular hypocrisy and desperation at Cancun... Wikileaks rather undercutting the last few years Middle Eastern narrative, when not being selectively quoted, if at all?), seems to be yet more endless gossip from Westminster Usual Village Idiot central.

Perhaps because that is the only direct source of actual information no one else has, and few outside the bubble care about.

The word INSTINCTIVELY! re Blair, Cameron, Clegg etc are you refering to other words such as Liars and Cheats or do you prefer ECONOMICAL WITH THE TRUTH. Perhaps then Limted ED will indeed learn from the past masters! Did I also just read that Katie Myler issued an apology to CAMERON about a twit moment where the word PIMP was used? I'd certainly have some other words about this gentleman and other of the same ilk, but I fear Mr Moderator would be on me like the hounds.....
