I watched the interview with the Liberty Leader. I thought she was
articulate and intelliegnt. You asked her some good questions. But I got a sense of you nearly defending
the real terror antagonists who are
the British Gov and Bush. This does
not surprise me and I do not want to stereotype but I thought you were not impartial, as a middle class unionist
the question I want to ask you why
you drink up all their(British Gov) right wing propaganda.In which calling their
'enemies' terrorists in which somehow
demonising the other side. This is
the con as I see it. I done a course
in social science last year and learned about how states create a climate of fear, for it was learned
by the C.I.A that to keep the masses
in a constant state of fear they buy more, in which they shop for more food etc... Can I ask you is any way to live ? After all you are a philisopher , do not want to live in a utopian state where all races and creeds are accepted?

Neil. Not sure where you're coming from there. It's the job of an interviewer to put the other side of an argument, isn't it? I got the impression that Will was pressing Shami's arguments to see how she would defend them. I agree with Shami's views (and to be honest I reckon Will would agree with them too but he can speak for himself) but I wasn't impressed by her defence when pressed. Never seen Shami looking as weak as this under cross-examination.
