Glasto tickets still available!

A couple of weeks back, we mentioned that 250 tickets for the last day (Sunday 26 June) of this summer's Glastonbury Festival had been made available to disabled people. Now, we all know that Glasto tickets have a tendency to sell like hot cakes, so you'd think they would have been snapped up long ago, wouldn't you? Wrong! About three-quarters of them are still available. So what are you waiting for?

Why are disabled people getting tickets? I'm not sure. Isn't this a little unfair? I'd rather like some tickets for that Wireless thing in Hyde Park instead.
No waaay! I can't believe my luck!!! Who'd have thought that being disabled could be so positive? Not sure how accessible it will be when I get there though - mud, water, hills, mud, more mud. Eww.
Errr...how is it unfair? The non diabled tickets sold out. The disabled ones haven't.
the idea is that some disabled people would find it difficult to camp for the whole weekend; so the day tickets (which aren't available to the general public) are allocated to them. I have one, and i'm not entitled to camp with it. however, you don't have to prove you can't camp, simply that you are disabled and (i think) in receipt of DLA. i see your point though, on the face of it it looks like an unfair treat for the poor wee cripples, i don't think it was intended that way. my only issue with it is that they announced the tickets at a point where alot of the accomodation in the surrounding area would be booked up by weekend ticket holders who for whatever reason don't want to camp. I don't want to leave the same day because it cuts my night drastically short, and given that wheelchair accessible accomodation is likely to be rare in rural somerset anyway, i think the organisers might want to rethink their timing and/or their policy on camping with these tickets.
Im thinking about going this is great! Anyone got any idea what wheelchair access is like? Mud, terrain etc???
