Post categories:

"Last November a fast-growing lump on his left buttock sent Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 4's Nick Clarke, 58, reluctantly to his GP. Six weeks later, he was an amputee."

In Fighting to be normal, broadcast on radio 4, Nick tells his story.

The programme went out on 23 June, but you can always catch it by using Radio 4's listen again feature. You can also read about Nick's experience in the Ö÷²¥´óÐã News magazine.

I can't get the listen again feature to work on my PC (for some reason my computer really doesn't like certain pages on bbc.co.uk) so I can't comment on the content of the show. But, wow am I not much of a fan of the title.

Great programme! So heartwarming and the courage and determination of Nick is a joy to listen to.

My Mum had a type of cancer and chemo to sort it but sadly has left the world but am inspired by anyone who battles any cancer as it is a hard thing to come to terms with in any family.
