Alcohol and mental health

is currently in full swing, running from 16-22 April, and to coincide with this, the has just released Cheers? This is a new research report outlining the relationship between alcohol and mental health. The report shows evidence that many adults in the UK are using alcohol to deal with feelings of stress, anxiety and depression, and that excessive drinking increases vulnerability to a range of mental health problems.
Here are just two of the worrying statistics found in the report:
• The UK ranks 22 out of 185 countries in alcohol consumption.
• 70 per cent of men who commit suicide have drunk alcohol before doing so.

Those vulnerable guys are easily harmed by alcohol but you know some thing million of peoples in india till survive by using alcohol as an important part of their daily routine.Though but be in limits.
It is estimated that 10-25% of the general population will seek help annually for mental health problems and of these 2-4% will have severe mental illness.
