All this week on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Scotland we've been looking at some of the options available to pupils who are currently deciding which Higher subjects to choose.
On Monday Fred MacAulay spoke to Ö÷²¥´óÐã Scotland education correspondent Seonag MacKinnon about the Scottish education system.
He then invited invited teachers to pitch their subject to pupils considering their options:

And, on Wednesday's Kitchen Café Pennie Latin looked at home economics. How has it changed in recent years? Does it matter if there is less actual cooking being taught in class or is it more important that the subject moves with the times?
