The 2010 T3 Gadget Awards, so who won wot then?
So we went to this years 2010 T3 awards on Monday to witness the best gadgets of the past year, now this is always quite a flicky affair, nice venue, boom food (we're talking 2 styles of Steak one was even shredded!!), and an entertaining host/presenter. Last year it was Johnny Vaughan. This year they drafted in comedian Jimmy Carr. Man he was on form joke after joke. Also bumped into our man Ortis from but the most important thing loads of sexy gadgets, here's a quick round up of some flickiest bits of kit that won awards.
App of the year:
Using the famous google mapping service this is sat nav for your phone or iDevice and best thing is its free!! No more Tom, Dick, Dick or Harry. A worthy winner me thinks.
New media service of the year:
the itunes rival adds mobile support for most smartphones with 10 thousand new tracks added everyday Spotify could be on to a winner.
Gaming gadget of the year:
Huh ?? I hear you say cos that's what we said when it was announced. A custom built gaming laptop with kick ass graphics, audio and processing but I thought everyone was on Xbox or PS3. Only for the deadly serious gamer (they must've voted for it).
Music gadget of the year:
, not the winner any of us expected. Another huh moment but apparently it makes your computer or console sound amazing. Mine sounds alright anyway so this one aint for me, but hey knock yourself out!
Phone of the year:
One of the biggies and not what we expected. The was a strong contender but got beaten by the Apparently the best android fone with a 1ghz processesor (the speed of a desktop computer not too long ago) touchscreen sexiness very similar to the iPhone. I almost got one myself.
Gadget of the year:
The biggest and most important category of the awards. Don't think there was any competition to be honest. Everyone wants one even if they don't know what to do with it and in my opinion one of the sexiest gadgets around non other than the 3G, wifi, whizzbang, av it av it! It won. Nuff said.
Ö÷²¥´óÐã gadget of the year:
Mike was loving this category because of the deep pan fry but the winner was the (what I hear you cry) its a robot vacuum cleaner!!! Brap!! We all need one of these in our lives, a built in camera maps the room and the robot avoids tables, chairs and even humans but does the hoovering without arguing. Love dat!!
