We can’t tell you much about Jack, but what we can say is he’s a bit of a dark character… oooooohhhhh cryptic! So here’s Jack’s pic:

New character Jack Simmons

We’ve also got an old face returning to The Cut for series 3. It’s Rosa – and here’s a cute picture of her and Frankie on set.

Rosa and Frankie on set

We’d love to hear your predictions of what might happen to both Jack and Rosa in series 3. Suggestions perhaps of how you think Jack’s going to be introduced, who you think he’s going to be mates with, and any storyline suggestions that you think Jack or Rosa might be involved in…? Post your predictions below – and we’ll see if there’s any Cut psychics out there...

A character called Jack?! YES! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!! I want him to be Alex's boyfriend please! Just from his looks, it looks like they would go well together! Please please please make it happen in Series 4 if there is one and it doesn't already happen in Series 3! Come on, you know you want to... ;D

I have just had a thought (and yes, I know it's not completely relevant to the new character, but it's fairly important anyway, I think.)

Obviously no one can be sure if The Cut can continue after Switch goes, but please please please can you find out for definite whether or not it can keep going before you finish making the third series? That way if it has to stop, you'll have the chance to round off everyone's stories.

I'm guessing that Jack was an enemy that Tommy made when he went away.. (he seems a bit like Tommy) Because Stephen also hates Tommy they'll team up and hate Tommy together :P Then Rosa will fall for Jack and Tommy will be annoyed and HEY PRESTO!!

ooh, exciting im glad rosa's coming back since she is a one of the main characters from the start of the series and she was olive's close friend. I think that Jack is probabably friends with tommy or not going to be friends with him. Cause he dose look like tommy's sort of friend i wouldn't say stephen's thoe.
soo happy the cut is coming back next week! :D i know its only been a month or so of no cut.. but it actually feels like ages for some reason lol :]

Maybe that will be Rosa's boyfriend?
Or Rosa will eventually try to get with this Jack, even if she going behind one of her friend's backs.

Great to see Rosa is back on the scene, I was always annoyed her storyline last series never got followed up. Jack looks a little creepy for my likings (:P) but he looks like a great pal for Stephen! haha...

I agree, he looks a little like a friend (or enemy) of Tommys. I think him and Steven will get on maybe?
