Go back to what the 主播大秀 was (an information channel)and stop competing with the Commercial channels!
The reduction of the new department isn't unwelcome. The 主播大秀 has an inflated opion about itself and the importance of news. It is unnecessary for every channel to have a news program when TV viewers can always look at 主播大秀 24 hour news. For example a news programme was added to 主播大秀4 - why? It already has a tiny transmission time because of the exaggerated number of channels and time devoted to childrens' TV. 主播大秀 news is also very parochial - if you want to know about important events in the rest of the world you have to listen to 主播大秀 World Service. And if we get more repeats, hurrah. The vast number of TV programmes disappear into the Archives destined to be buried and forgotten. So we might at least get the chance of seeing those programmes which we missed when they were originally screened.
