Sights and sounds in Swansea

I'm packing a range of artistic experiences into a trip to Swansea this week. There's a concert at the which is part of this year's - Ö÷²¥´óÐã National Orchestra of Wales with a programme of Beethoven's Emperor Piano concerto and the Symphonie Fantastique by Berlioz.
I was amazed to realise that the Swansea Festival's been going for just
over 60 years. That's impressive both in terms of organisation and
audiences. Long may it last.
Before the concert I'm going to the gallery as I'm intrigued by an exhibition there called Horse House. The work of German born photographer Eva Bartussek, the pictures I've seen so far looked at first sight like a clever bit of photo shop work, but the images of horses in a large mansion are, apparently, for real.
The photographer found a local house that was also used as a stable. Its whereabouts seem to be a secret but, as I love a mystery, I'm hoping to meet her and try to find out more about the place.
After the Horse House, I'm off just across the road to the , set up to show (and sell) work created by people at the Dragon Arts & Learning Centre run by the charity Cyrenians. The centre runs free courses for people who have experienced homelessness or social exclusion or who can't access mainstream education.
The gallery's re-opening in Swansea's Llys Glas and I'm looking forward to seeing the arts and crafts on offer, especially the work produced through the charity's Res a Rec scheme which creates crafts from recyclable materials.
