Lucie Jones lands West End role in Les Misérables

Former X Factor contestant Lucie Jones has landed a prestigious role in West End favourite , directed by Cameron Mackintosh.

The star from Pentyrch, Cardiff, who came to prominence on the hit ITV programme, has already started rehearsals for the long-running show.

Lucie will play the part of Cosette, having previously auditioned for the role of Eponine. Her role comes as part of a large cast change after some performers left the show last week.
