Spectacular starlings

Check out this stunning footage of starlings coming in to roost, captured by a contributor to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã North East Wales website.

Craig Smith, a volunteer warden at , near Wrexham, got in touch after filming the birds' display earlier this month.

The reasons for these spectacular which can involve hundreds of thousands of birds, have yet to be established for certain although it's believed the behaviour is intended to confuse predators.
