Things to do this weekend

It's summer, it's raining and the kids are getting restless...Here are a couple of suggestions for this weekend.
In South Wales - Pop down to the WWT National Wetland Centre in Llanelli for a celebration of all things flamingo!
Flamingo facts: They're one of the oldest species of bird on the planet dating back to 30 million years ago.
There will be plenty of themed activities including how long you can stand on one leg as well as flamingo Olympics, guided walks and flamingo spotting.
The main stars of the show however will be the 6 new fluffy chicks that have recently hatched. The caribbean flamingos arrived at the centre 6 years ago and have never looked back.

Meanwhile in North Wales, The RSPB reserve at Conwy is holding it's first ever Summer Fair!
Kids will have the opportunity to get involved, building dens, making bird models from recycled materials and discover the reserves wildlife in action.
Local author, Ruth Miller will be there to sign copies of her new walking and birdwatching book - 'Birds, Boots and Butties' and visitors will be be able to watch artists Kay Rees-Davies and the Blue Earthworm Art Studios in action.
