Good news if you're a badger lover.

The proposed badger cull (due to take place in North Pembrokeshire) by the Welsh Assembly Government has been halted after protesters won a legal challenge to stop it.

Opinions are as ever, divided over this recent development. .

in Wales are certainly breathing a sigh of relief.

I have a problem believing that Badgers are the cause of Bovine TB. Bovine surely relates to cattle, not Badgers, therefore could it not be more to do with poor Husbandry on the farmers behalf.I often notice when a farming story is under discussion how the cattle in Britain always appear to be "snotty" yet this does not appear to be the case when shown Cattle from shall we say Belgium or even France.
Sorry for my long winded reply, but surely its just as possible that the Badger's are catching it from the Cattle, after all Humans catch TB and that's not down to Badgers.
