Next stop Cologne

LONDON - so, after some final preparations, we're all packed to fly to Germany in the morning. We've been trying to work out how to use our new camera this week. It's entirely digital and is the first time we've used it - so there's a kind of `Michael Owen' like pressure on cameraman Twammers to deliver. Like Sven, there really is no Plan B.
Much to the amusement of the office, I've been trying to speak to the French and Italian team press officers this week. They're going to be the first teams we're going to concentrate on, but with both teams having difficult World Cup build-ups it's not being easy to get them on the phone. My french being tinged with a Welsh accent doesn't help either !
If anyone spots any good World Cup stories around Cologne please get in touch. The quirkier the better (sightings of World Cup squads drinking into the small hours absolutely ideal).

what with being mightily bored with revision i thought i'd come say hi and all that jazz. hope u guys hav fun, and be sure to make sure me dad buys plenty of gifts!
