  7. TV Drama - The Writers' Festival 2011: Booking deadline extended

    The deadline for bookings for this year's Writers' Festival has now been extended until June 23rd. Please send all completed application forms through to writersroom.events@bbc.co.uk by midnight on this date. We've just announced more guest speakers on the festival page - with a fantastic line-up to include Jimmy McGovern, Frank Spotnitz, Jack Thorne, Paula Milne, Toby Whithouse, Stephen Butchard and Alice Nutter to name a few, it's shaping up to be a very exciting year. Some of the session titles announced so far include: "Team writing US style", "The Curse of the scripwriting guru", "Know Your Audience - Writing for the Youth Market" and "Is it the writer's responsibility to change the world?"
