·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Try and chat to as many potential punters as possible

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Put things that are likely to be the most popular sellers - e.g. toys - at the centre of your stall

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A box for punters to rummage through is good, but display your best wares properly

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Stickers saying 'buy me' on goods add humour and provide another talking point

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Position your tables diagonally away from you to draw people into your space

Back on the street the families tackled the internet auction sites and try and get rid of the stuff that didn't sell at the car boot sale. And if you want to try your hand at internet auction selling, here are some more tips to help you sell your unwanted stuff:

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Be as detailed in your text description of the item as possible, e.g. shoe height, colour, heel height, material...

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Good pictures are a must - make sure the product looks as attractive as it can, and provide multiple photos to show it from all angles

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Provide a story - so if it is an unused wedding gift your parents were given, say that

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý If the product is a pink jacket, write "pink jacket" in a pink font to add colour

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Make sure there are no spelling mistakes or other typos
