Can I submit a script to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã?

The Ö÷²¥´óÐã Writersroom’s Open Call scheme accepts script submissions once a year. Both new and experienced writers from across the UK and Republic of Ireland can submit an original script of at least 30 pages written for film, TV, radio, and stage. ÌýFor further terms and conditions, as well as information on how and when to submit a script to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Writersroom, please visit the website here.

Please note that the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Writersroom does not commission or produce the scripts submitted to Open Call so they should not be sent in with this expectation, nor does the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Writersroom act as the production or script department for Ö÷²¥´óÐã programming.Ìý The opportunity is designed to identify and support writers’ careers through bespoke and unpaid screenwriting development schemes. ÌýFor further information on how the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Writersroom works, please read this blog post: How We Find and Develop Writers.

You can find a host of other writing opportunities from the Ö÷²¥´óÐã and across the industry on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Writersroom Opportunities page.

There is currently no process by which Ö÷²¥´óÐã Content takes unsolicited ideas from the public. ÌýIf you are interested in finding out more about the commissioning process, please refer to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Commissioning website.
