The show's shortest serving presenter, little is known about Anita, and no clips from her time on the show exist in the archives, other than footage from her audition.
Anita left Blue Peter to return to acting, appearing in the films Impact, Shadow of Fear, Ring of Spies, and Joey Boy. She also appeared in a 1962 episode of The Saint and a 1992 episode of Lovejoy.
Anita returned to star in 1998's Blue Peter Pantomime Back in Time For Christmas, a musical extravaganza featuring past presenters and a time machine. She played a schoolteacher in charge of a nativity play, alongside the current team of Stuart Miles, Katy Hill and Konnie Huq.
