programmes and initiatives across its
services – television, radio, online and interactive.

Shakespeare on Radio 3
Ìý
Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 3 continues its
commitment to broadcasting
Shakespeare with two new
productions.
Ìý
Troilus and Cressida is
broadcast on Sunday 30 October at
6.30pm.
Ìý
Set during the Trojan War,
the play is both a story of doomed
love and a powerful, provocative
enquiry into ethics, values and the
slippery nature of truth.
Ìý
Paterson
Joseph plays Troilus, Nikki Amuka-Bird is
Cressida, Derek Griffiths is Pandarus
and Ulysses is Paul Rhys.
Ìý
Producer/Director is Marc Beeby.
Ìý
Pericles is broadcast on Sunday 27 November at 7.50pm. It tells the tale
of Pericles, Prince of Tyre, and the
rise and fall in his fortunes over a 16-year odyssey.

This new, fast-paced,
multicultural production taps
into contemporary global culture and
music and stars Benjamin Zephaniah as Gower, Tom Mannion as Pericles
and Sian Phillips as Diana.

listeners have another chance to hear
Much Ado About Nothing on Sunday

Twenty Minutes broadcasts a newly-commissioned ghost story by Fay
Weldon - inspired by Shakespeare's A Winter's Tale - on Saturday 3
December.

November, each weekday edition of
Morning On 3 features two pieces of
music inspired by Shakespeare.
