Strictly Dance Fever returns to Ö÷²¥´óÐã ONE for
a swinging second series
The judging panel
Arlene Phillips
Ìý
Arlene started her career as a dancer. She created the Seventies
dance troop sensation Hot Gossip and choreographed all their routines.
Ìý
Arlene is probably the most respected and renowned choreographer
in the business. She is best known for her work on countless musicals;
directing and choreographing Saturday Night Fever in London and New
York, and Starlight Express at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Ìý
She also choreographed Grease
in the West End and on tour, and directed the concert tour of The
Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Michael Flatley's acclaimed arena
production Lord of The Dance.
Ìý
Arlene has choreographed films, including
Annie and Monty Python's Meaning of Life, and television shows including
The Brit Awards and The Royal Variety Show.
Ìý
Arlene's music video credits
include Duran Duran, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Elton John,
Queen, Diana Ross, Tina Turner and Robbie Williams.
Ìý
Arlene has also
choreographed over one hundred commercials in England, Europe and
the USA including Dr Pepper, Coca Cola, Levi Jeans and American Express.

Since the last series of Strictly Dance Fever, Arlene has
also cast her critical eye over a host of celebrity dancers as part of
the judging panel on Strictly Come Dancing.

Stacey Haynes
Ìý
Stacey has been performing for 15 years in various West End
shows and operas at the Royal Opera House and the London Coliseum.
Ìý
She
performed and was associate choreographer with Cliff Richard on a
number of his UK and European Tours and staged his 40th Anniversary Concert
at The Royal Albert Hall.
Ìý
Stacey's West End and UK touring credits
as resident director/choreographer include Fame, Five Guys Named
Mo, Carmen Jones, Smokey Joes Café, Rent, The Rocky Horror Show and The
Lion King.
Ìý
Her film credits as assistant choreographer include Othello
with Laurence Fishbourne, Hamlet with Kenneth Brannagh, The Tall Guy
with Geoff Goldblaum, Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and Frankenstein
with Robert de Niro.
Ìý
She is now artistic director for Clear Channel
Entertainment, recruiting choreographers for a
variety of productions and is currently working on Grease, Cats, Chicago
Tour, The Producers, Starlight Express, and the new production of Guys
and Dolls.

Ben Richards
Ìý
New member of Dance Fever judging panel Ben Richards has
a long impressive dance and theatre repertoire. Ben
took up dance aged seven, attending professional dance college Laine Theatre
Arts.
Ìý
Although best known for his role as Bruno Milligan in Footballer's
Wives, Ben has been performing in the West End for over ten years;
playing the lead roles in hit musicals such as Grease and Saturday Night
Fever, where he was choreographed by his fellow judge Arlene Phillips!

Wayne Sleep OBE
Ìý
Whilst new to the Dance Fever judging panel, Wayne Sleep
has had a prolific dance career spanning five decades!
Ìý
Wayne is the
original Billy Elliot – after moving to Durham aged 12 he won the Leverhulme Scholarship
to the Royal Ballet School and joined the Royal Ballet in 1966.
Ìý
In 1973
he became a principal dancer and appeared in over 50 major
roles, some created for him by dance legends such as Sir Frederick
Ashton, Sir Kenneth Mcmillam and Rudolph Nureyev.
Ìý
Wayne starred in the original Andrew Lloyd-Webber hit musical
productions Cats and Song & Dance,
and played Emcee in Gillian Lynne's production of Cabaret and
The Child Catcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Ìý
His own choreographic works
include David and Goliath for London Contemporary Dance
and San Francisco Ballet, A Soldier's Tale, Hot Shoe Show for stage
and television, and Wizard Of Oz for the London Studio Centre.
Ìý
Wayne has two entries in the Guinness Book of Records, one
of which is for his entrechat douze (a jump with six beats) which
still stands today.
Ìý
He is Patron of the South West Region
of the Royal Academy of Dance, the British Ballet Organisation, the
Dance Teacher's Benevolent Fund and other institutions.
He has now set up a charity, The Wayne Sleep Dance Scholarship, to
help aspiring dancers with their tuition.
