Mind) and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill, Enduring Love) play a father and
son whose relationship is brought into question in A Number, a
screen adaptation of British playwright Caryl Churchill's stage play.
Ìý
When Bernard (Ifans) discovers he is just one of an unidentified
number of clones, his whole existence is called into question and
he turns to his father Salter (Wilkinson) to provide some answers
about where he really came from, and what really happened to his
mother.
As Salter attempts to justify his actions and clones creep out of the
woodwork, questions of human identity, nature versus nurture and
the morality of cloning are explored.

Explorer Bruce Parry (Tribe) embarks on an epic journey to the source of
the Amazon – the world's greatest river, its largest forest, the most

adaptation by Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Gimme Gimme Gimme) of
Beautiful People, the wild childhood memoirs of Simon Doonan, Creative Director of
Barneys, New York.

Exploring Simon's memories of his desire to escape suburban Reading and live
among the "beautiful people" from the perspective of his New York department
store window, it features a host of eccentric characters: 13-year-old Simon and his
best friend Kyle, who cannot open a fridge door without belting out a show tune;
Mum Debbie, a whirlwind of matriarchal warmth in killer heels; Dad Andy, a lovable
Irish softy and avid wine-maker; older sister Ashlene, a wannabe ghetto queen;
family lodger, blind Aunty Hayley; and lobotomised grandma Narg (gran
backwards), who has lost God – but found a foul mouth.

The series also stars Olivia Colman (Peep Show, That Mitchell And Webb Look), Aidan
McArdle (Not Only But Always), Layton Williams (Billy Elliot in the West End), Samuel
