Horne And Corden

Horne And Corden is a new six-part character comedy sketch show for Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three, written by and starring Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey, Catherine Tate, Roman's Empire) and James Corden (Gavin & Stacey, History Boys, Fat Friends).

The pair are fast becoming the UK's favourite young comedy double act.

Horne And Corden follows a traditional entertainment format, with the guys hosting the show as themselves in front of a live studio audience.

They also play a wide selection of original characters that are innovative, provocative and always entertaining.

Characters include: Xander, an old boarding-school chum, who is the most hideous, foul-mouthed, but well meaning man to ever rear his head from a person's past.

Xander specialises in turning up at inappropriate times to remind people of embarrassing moments they'd rather forget.

Tim Goodall, a gay TV journalist, who's more interested in sipping Pina Colada and discussing how fit the soldiers are in Basra than delivering breaking news.

Jonny and Lee Miller, two very flamboyant "magicians", whose magic is left to the audience's imagination, while their dance routines are magnificent.

Superman and Spiderman "know each other's work", but when it comes to socialising they're a bit awkward.

Mat and James also present a range of characters from "Ricky Gervais doing some serious acting", to an annoying office colleague who's always got a better story from the night before.

And there's always someone looking for a mobile phone charger at inappropriate moments.

Accompanying the series will be six exclusive webisodes, offering a candid look behind the scenes of Horne And Corden.

The show is directed by comedy legend Kathy Burke (Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and Harry Enfield And Chums).

Welcome to the Klangbury council offices, from where our three anti-heroes, Councillor Marek (the hapless baldy), Councillor Steve (the psychotic one), and Council-leader Greg (the fat Rik Mayall lookalike), unleash their unfathomable incompetence across this once smoothly functioning town.

Greg longs to be an upstanding civic leader but, unable to cope with the pressures of the job, he takes it out on inept simpleton Marek, who needs little help in looking idiotic but gets it all the same from psychotic (but lovable) schemer Steve.

Each week, their ineptitude scales increasingly improbable heights as they're called upon to resolve a municipal issue/impending disaster.

Salvation is invariably snatched from the jaws of debacle as the three bungling buffoons rally together to save the day, usually assisted by an unlikely chunk of luck.

Pulling

Returning to Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three for a one-off special, the Bafta-nominated Pulling charts the latest highs and lows in the lives and loves of best friends Karen (Tanya Franks), Donna (Sharon Horgan) and Louise (Rebekah Staton).

This 60-minute special is brimming with funny moments, shocking revelations, blasts from the past and a funeral.

All seems to be going well on the man-front for the girls. Louise is moving in with the love of her life; Donna has found a rich man with no personality; and Karen has realised that the only thing a woman really wants in life is to make her man happy, so she's found herself a chauvinist.

However, as always it's not plain sailing for the trio and before long, Louise decides she actually hates the love of her life, Billy staggers back into Karen's life, bringing some devastating news; and Donna is fine, until Karl (Cavan Clerkin) returns from Italy, prompting her to dump her rich man in the hope that she and Karl can try again.

Will it all end in tears? Or will each of the girls finally find their Mr Right and wave goodbye to life as singletons?

Ideal

Grown Ups

Returning for a third series, Grown Ups charts the lives of a group of 20-something friends on a headlong rush to explore sex, identity and friendship.

While the Manchester-based group continue their mission to gain life experience before reaching the age of responsibility, for one member this might have come sooner than expected.

The series will be packed full of fun and madness as Michelle (Sheridan Smith) goes through an experimental stage, Grant (Steven Meo) rides a cow through the city centre, Chris (Richard Mylan) tries magic mushroom tea, Alex (Warren Brown) runs through glass and newcomer Jenny, played by Leah MacRae (Blowout, Angry Puppy), wrangles a snake.
