It's all drama at the Kent County Show with Radio Kent

Visitors to this year's Kent County Show can add a bit of drama to their day out by creating a radio play, complete with sound effects, on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Kent stand.

There's an opportunity for all the family to get involved – whether they fancy themselves as the newest voice on The Archers, or have wondered how sound effects work, all with the help from a Ö÷²¥´óÐã expert.

But, most importantly, it's a chance to have a bit of a giggle – even at the expense of family members.

And those dropping by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio Kent Stand (No. 342) in the Experiencing Kent area will also get to see the station in action, as some of listeners' favourite presenters will be broadcasting live from the show every day – all keen to meet and chat with show-goers.

There will also be a chance to have a peek behind the scenes at Kent's radio station with a film especially made for the Kent Show.

Friday 16 July

1-4pm: Pat Marsh and Laura Earl will bring listeners all the fun and games from the first day of the show.

Meet and greet with Radio Kent presenters, including John Warnett, Clare McDonnell, Pat Marsh and Steve Ladner (to be confirmed).

Saturday 17 July

10am-1pm: Join Matthew Davies and guests for Saturday Mid-Morning programme.

2-6pm: Ben Munday will be providing the perfect soundtrack to a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Meet and greet with Radio Kent presenters, including John Warnett, Clare McDonnell, Pat Marsh and Steve Ladner (to be confirmed).

Sunday 18 July

8-11am: Visitors will be able to get their gardening queries answered first hand if they drop by the Radio Kent stand and join Sunday Gardening, with Sue Mansfield.

11am-2pm: Kent's favourite radio double act, Paul James and Paul Harris, will be hosting their regular Sunday Supplement.

2-5pm: One of Kent's most well-known faces, Geoff Clark, will be presenting his new programme live from the Radio Kent stand, providing Sunday's soundtrack and all the best conversation.
