Lunch Monkeys: Abdullah Afzal plays Asif Khan
Abdullah Afzal plays kung fu-loving joker Asif. We left Asif with only one worry in his life, the prospect of his family finding out he isn't the lawyer he has led them to believe. We rejoin him as he is still keeping up the pretence in the post room at Fox Cranford.
On returning to his role as hapless Asif, Abdullah comments: "Asif is still the lovable idiot in the post room who constantly seems to find his way into awkward situations. Suprisingly, there's some office romance in store for Asif and he continues to prank Kenny."
Playing Asif was Abdullah's first TV acting role. Since then he has appeared in a short film, Raamis, as a young Asian student. Abdullah is currently in the process of writing a new comedy series.
