"I've never done anything like this," Naughty Boy told Tommy Sandhu when the Asian Network Live line-up was announced in March (below). "I'm gonna have to up my game with this one, actually! I don't want to just come with my normal Naughty Boy songs. I want to mash it up with this and do something I haven't done before..."

Intrigued, we grabbed the headliner before his performance to see what we could find out. Here's the interview:

"I've never performed my songs this way, when I've added some other instruments I've grown up with in Bollywood films," he said. "I think people are going to like it, it's different."

And he gave us some clues about who he might be bringing on as guests (although some gave the game away on Twitter beforehand!):

Naughty Boy also mentioned two of the singers he was going to perform with. And, wow, one was Kanika Kapoor, one of Bollywood’s best loved play-back singers:

He also told us to expect a surprise with the Asian Network's own Preeya Kalidas. Here they are in early April when Naughty Boy was on Preeya's show:

Finally, he told us he was going to perform the songs that everyone knows well. One of them was his No.1 smash, La La La, which saw him being joined on stage by Kanika Kapoor:
