Andrew Schnell wants to move his family to his home country, New Zealand. Will a week's sample of Kiwi life be enough to persuade his reluctant wife and daughter?
Eighteen years after moving to the UK, Andrew Schnell is desperate to return home to New Zealand and take his young family with him. Son Josh is excited about a move to the other side of the world, but strong ties in the UK mean things aren't as straightforward for wife Katrina and daughter Hannah.
A week experiencing the Kiwi lifestyle seems to be winning the whole family round, but when their UK home is valued much lower than they had hoped, Andrew's dream of moving home comes under serious threat.

Schnell family update
After returning home from their trial week down under, Andrew applied for various jobs in New Zealand but the family鈥檚 plans took a different direction when Andrew was offered a substantial promotion in his current job in the UK. With their house in negative equity, the family have decided to stay in Northern Ireland for the time being.
