Janice Forsyth presents a Commonwealth Day Special.

The Big Song Relay is launched on today's show as Robyn Stapleton and Alistair Patterson perform an exclusive first performance of the song which will be peformed by choirs around Scotland to coincide with the journey of the Commonwealth Games 2014 Baton. Alison Burns tells Janice all about it.

East End Social is a music and community-based project as well as an official Culture 2014 event. East End Social organiser Stewart Henderson joins Janice in the studio and Sacred Paws perform live.

We discover more about how young people around the Commonwealth are hooking up on line for Commonwealth Class while Martha Burns Findlay tells us about Jambo, a project where schools around David Livingstone's birthplace of Blantyre are to learn about the history and culture of African countries he visited - and support them in the Commonwealth Games.

We also launch Poetry Postcards, a weekly strand on the programme in which we hear from poets in commonwealth countries talking about their homeland. Poets Glenn Colquhoun from New Zealand and TJ DEMA from Botswana start us off.
