Ö÷²¥´óÐã NI A Week in the World Competition 2016
Terms and Conditions
1. The competition is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, aged 18 or over except Ö÷²¥´óÐã employees, their close relatives or anyone connected with the competition. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be required.
2. During the programme on Friday 19th February 2016 viewers will be asked 6 questions each with a single digit answer. These numbers must be written down in order to create a six digit passcode. 
3. You can only enter by texting the word COMP to 60011 followed by the passcode – for example text 60011 with COMP 123123. The competition will open at 19:30 on 19th February 2016 and closes at 23:59 on 19th February 2016.
4. Texts will be charged at your standard message rate. Please check with your network operator for exact cost. No other method of entry will be accepted. Only one entry is accepted per mobile number. 
5. If you enter either before the opening time or after the closing time specified above your entry will not be accepted but you will still be charged. If you enter more than once, only the first entry will count, subsequent entries will not count but you will be charged.
6. After the competition closes winners will be selected at random from all valid entries. The entry selected at random will be checked, if the answer is correct that entrant will be deemed the winner. If not, another random entrant will be selected and the entry checked. This process will continue until a winner is found. 
7. The prize is a week for two people for 5 days in New York . Hotel accommodation of at least 3 star status will be provided in New York with £1000 spending money. The winner will be expected to take care of their own travel insurance, airport transfers and food. The flights offered will be Economy Class. A number of dates will be offered, but the return flight must be taken by 1 December 2016. 
8. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include any other element, costs or expenses. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure they and their guest have the correct documentation, valid passports and visas if necessary and can travel to and enter the USA freely. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã shall not be liable for the winner’s inability to travel to or enter the USA in order to take up the prize. 
9. The prize is stated as above. There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã reserves the right to substitute or supplement any element of the prize. 
10. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã's decision as to entrants taking part and winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into. 
11. Entrants agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.  The names of winners will be made public.
12. Your name, telephone number, and any other personal details will be handled by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Ö÷²¥´óÐã’. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã will only ever use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition and in accordance with the Ö÷²¥´óÐã’s Privacy & Cookies Policy. 13. This competition is conducted in line with the Ö÷²¥´óÐã's code of conduct for competitions, which can be found on http://www.bbc.co.uk/guidelines/editorialguidelines/advice/interactivity/code/.
14. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã reserves the right to: (i) amend these terms and conditions and vary the competition rules including but not limited to, the opening and closing times; (ii) disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules or has acted fraudulently in any way; and; (iii) cancel the competition, at any stage, if in its opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.
15. The Ö÷²¥´óÐã, their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any server, system, network or mobile operator or service provider or otherwise which may result in any registration not being properly logged or not recorded. 
16. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.
17. The departure and return airport offered may be Belfast or Dublin. In the event that the flight departs from Dublin, transport will be provided to and from the airport from Northern Ireland 
18. The competition is run by the Ö÷²¥´óÐã. The applicable law is that of England and Wales.
