Len Goodman takes model and presenter Melanie Sykes back to Llandudno in north Wales to reminisce about the holiday of her lifetime back in 1980.

First up, Len surprises Melanie by picking her up in a Skoda 105 just like the one her family had back in 1980. As they drive down the north Wales coast the memories start flooding back, and that's just the beginning of this trip down memory lane.

They play badminton on the beach, something she and her sister did back in the day, they make and eat that seaside staple ice cream, and then they take a windy ride up the Great Orme on board a tram to take in the view of this classic British seaside town. The day ends when Melanie has to play in a local brass band, something she remembers doing as a child because her father was an accomplished conductor.

Along the way we get an insight into Melanie's career, from modelling on the catwalks and in a famous beer commercial to presenting television. We also find out what made this holiday so special for a young Melanie Sykes.
